Part of Casio’s lineup of watches inspired by their own archives, the A1000PRW-1 is a fun and colorful spin on an iconic design. Based on one of the earliest digital watches, it has an octagonal case design that can be seen throughout Casio’s watches, including rugged G-Shocks. At 38mm x 39.6mm x 7.3mm it wears comfortably, with a thin profile, and is just wide enough to have a bold presence.

Of course, what sets this model apart is the unique Pink Rainbow IP coating. This dynamic, iridescent finish gives the watch an ever-shifting palette of colors ranging from gold to blue to bright pink. On the wrist, it’s unlike any other watch you’ve seen. This treatment is continued to the milanese steel mesh bracelet that wraps around your wrist, making a bold statement.

The LCD screen at the face’s center displays the time clearly, while also providing space for several additional and useful functions, including the date, a stopwatch, and alarm. All settings are controlled by three convenient buttons on the case sides.

About Casio

Casio is a brand name most people are familiar with. Founded in 1946 in Japan as Kashio Seisakujo and reestablished as Casio Computer Co., Ltd. in 1957 - they’ve made everything from the world’s first all-electric calculator to synthesizers, cameras, and more. Of course, they are also famous for their watches, which include G-Shock, Pro Trek, Edifice, and other tech-forward brands. The Casio Vintage line, as the name suggests, celebrates their earliest digital timepieces. Always fun and irreverent, these fashionable watches are affordable and a great addition to one’s watch box.
