The Oris ProPilot X returns in a new, lithe package. The descendant of the 2019 ProPilot X Cal 115, the new model features the same sleek, stealthy looks, but the new 5-day automatic caliber 400 inside and a very wearable size. Part of the Big Crown ProPilot line, the X isn’t just a modern take on a pilot’s watch, it has one foot in the future too. With sharp angles, Oris’ signature turbine bezel, and a matte-finished titanium construction, the ProPilot X looks like it’s meant to move fast.

Despite utilizing Oris’ impressive 120-hour automatic movement, the new ProPilot X features a thin 39mm case. Rendered fully in lightweight titanium, you’ll hardly know it’s on your wrist. The matching titanium bracelet, with Oris’ patented lift mechanism, only adds to comfort. Playing off of the aggressive lines by way of contrast, the dial is clean and open. Thin lines in slightly varying thicknesses create all of the major indexes. Choose from smokey gray, handsome blue, or vibrant salmon.

The Oris Caliber 400 inside of the ProPilot X is a truly impressive new movement from the independent Swiss brand. Featuring 21-jewels, this automatic caliber boasts a 120-hour/5-day power reserve. By removing many ferrous components, Oris was able to achieve high magnetic resistance. Thanks to a design that put efficiency and longevity at the forefront, Oris warranties the movement for 10 years, and recommends a 10-year service interval.

About Oris

The rich history of Oris dates back to 1904, when Paul Cattin and Georges Christian founded the brand in Hölstein, Switzerland, where it is still based. Over the past century, Oris has reached many great achievements, including being one of the 10 largest watch brands in the world in the 1960’s. Since the 1980’s, Oris has pursued a catalog of unique mechanical watches that has channeled their independent spirit. From their patented Worldtimer to their depth gauge diver to their mechanical altimeter pilot’s watch, Oris has continued to innovate in a way few other brands can match. An achievement that is highlighted by the brand’s commitment to fare, and accessible prices.
