The G5600BG-1 is more than a re-skinned 5600; it’s an assertion about the future of resin watches at G-SHOCK.

The case of the G5600BG-1 is made of waste-recycled resin combined with regular resin. The process through which this happens involves collecting and processing waste plastic and then injecting it with regular resin to create a black, red, and yellow speckled polymer. Both the case and bracelet of this 5600 is forged from this recycled material, and it results in a watch that appears solid black at a distance but is far more interesting up close. The case measures 42.8mm by 48.9mm by 13.4mm.

Inside the Back To G-SHOCK is a standard 5600-series solar movement – which is to say it is very functional. Features include automatic calendars, alarms, stopwatches, and backlight. To top it off, the G5600BG-1 is water resistant to 200m and is designed to be shock-proof.
