Springs + Gears is a new brand based out of our hometown of Brooklyn, NY. With an incredible eye for detail, Springs + Gears painstakingly redraws famous calibers, and then prints them by hand on a letterpress print. The result is a beautiful tribute to these mechanical icons.
Chances are, if you own a Speedmaster, the 1861 or one of its handful of incarnations is in your watch. Originally dubbed just the "861" this manual wound cam/lever chronograph replaced the famed 321 in 1968 and has remained, well, ever since with a handful of changes through the years (hence the "1" in front). One of the few manually-wound chronographs with that real vintage look still in production, it's a reliable, rugged and all-around awesome caliber.
The Omega 1861 prints are available in crisp white with black print, or deep blue with white/silver print, both in either 15" x 15", or 8" x 8". Prints are not framed.
