Named for its nimble size, the 36 is VERO’s vintage-inspired sports watch. A no-nonsense watch that features an American-made case and dial; the 36 is an all day, everyday design. The deceptively simple case has a gorgeous box sapphire crystal on top, sapphire display back and an impressive water resistance of 100m. The ingenious piston-crown maintains that resistance whether the crown is in or out (though leave it in for safety). The ceramic-coated dial comes in two flavors, Sunset and Rally, both of which exude a summery 70’s style. This will quickly become your go-to watch.
Powering the 36 is the Sellita SW 210 hand-wound caliber. This Swiss-made movement is well regarded for its reliability and robustness. The SW 210 features 19-jewels, a 42-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28,800 bph (beats per hour) and hacking seconds (the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out).

Founded in 2015 by Chris Boudreaux and Danny Recordon in Portland, Oregon, Vero has already set itself apart from the pack through their dedication to in-house production and high quality materials. Their current collections, the 36 and the SW, both feature multi-stage printed dials made of brass, excellent case work and piston crowns manufactured in their Portland facility. The watches are then powered by excellent Sellita Swiss mechanical movements, assembled right in their Portland facility. This American-made ethos, as opposed to taking the simpler route with a manufacturer in Asia or Europe, is a point of pride for Vero, with each Vero timepiece’s packaging proudly displaying the origin and assembly of every component.
