The BW001 was the first watch released by Bravur and remains a great example of the core philosophies of the brand. The largest Bravur, at 41mm it’s a concept that cleverly mixes elegant details like applied numerals and exquisite finishing with elements that appear industrial or architectural. The case in particular shows the latter with vertical ribbing, a contrasting color ring and lugs with sharp geometry. Despite having a lot going on, the end result is refined and very balanced.
Powering the BW001 is the Ronda 715 quartz caliber. This Swiss-made movement features 5-jewels and date.

Founded in 2011 by industrial designers Magnus Äppelryd and Johan Sahlin, Bravur has made a space for themselves squarely at the crossroads of unique design and exquisite craftsmanship. Based in the quiet coastal town of Bastad, Sweden, the marque achieves this through a blend of high-quality Swiss manufacture and distinctly Scandinavian design sensibilities, catering toward modern urban tastes rather than the macho posturing of many other brands. Bravur’s stylistic ethos is deceptively simple at first glance, revealing all manner of fascinating details on closer inspection.
