Citizen’s Promaster collection offers a range of function-forward sports watches that are designed for an active life, whether that is on land, in the air, or at sea. The Citizen Caliber 2100 joins the Promaster Land series as a limited-edition of 2100 examples, and it offers bold styling with an advanced solar-powered movement that is packed full of functionality.
The 44mm stainless steel case of the Citizen Promaster Caliber 2100 features an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and houses a silver-tone dial with contrasting black registers. Surrounding the periphery of the dial is a tachymeter scale, which can be used in conjunction with the Caliber 2100’s chronograph to measure either speed or distance. The hands and hour markers receive an ample application of luminous material to aid with visibility in dark conditions, while the additional centrally-mounted hand for the alarm function is skeletonized and appears in a striking shade of bright red. Despite being a chronograph from the Promaster Land series, the Citizen Caliber 2100 offers a generous 200 meters of water resistance, meaning that it is more than capable of being worn swimming, showering, and snorkeling, along with surviving virtually any other aquatic activities you might encounter.
Powering the Citizen Promaster Caliber 2100 is the feature-packed E210 movement, which is hand-assembled in Japan and part of the brand’s Eco-Drive line of light-powered calibers. In addition to being able to display both the time and date, the advanced E210 movement also provides the Citizen Promaster Caliber 2100 with a 1/5-second chronograph, a programmable alarm, and a power reserve indicator. Just like other Citizen Eco-Drive movements, the E210 is capable of charging itself using any ambient light source, and it can run for up to six months at a time after being fully charged.
