The Defender is the Safari collection’s dive watch, equally at ease on wild plains or sweeping coastlines. It features a comfortable 40mm stainless steel case with an impressive 200m of water resistance, ensuring it stands up to any conditions. The Defender Siana and Elewana feature “California” dials, a vintage-inspired dial variant with Roman numerals from 10:00 to 2:00 and Arabic numerals from 4:00 to 8:00. Both are paired with matching three-link stainless steel bracelets. 

Powering the Safari Defender is the Seiko NH35A, visible through the watch’s sapphire exhibition caseback. Each caseback features randomized artwork of one of four indigenous animals. A Japanese-made automatic movement, it features 24 jewels, hacking, hand winding, small seconds, a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 41 hours.
