The 1939s are dedicated to the elaborate multi-scale chronographs of the early 20th century. Featuring highly technical and almost baroque dials, a wealth of important information can be measured by simply using the chronograph. The tachymeter can be used to measure the speed of an object, the telemeter can measure distance by way of sounds and the pulsometer can aid in measuring heart rate. By putting these scales together and adding large pushers, they created some of the earliest tool watches.
The 1939 is powered by the Miyota 6S21 caliber. This Japanese Quartz movement features a chronograph complication with a center 1/20 second hand and a 60-minute totalizer and nine, small-seconds at three and an approximate battery life of 3 years.
The watch is accompanied with two straps (one leather, one nylon) and a canvas strap roll. Limited edition of 1939 pieces.

Since their start in 2016, Dan Henry has quickly become one of the highest-profile micro brands in the enthusiast community. Founded by esteemed namesake collector Dan Henry and based out of his native Brazil, the brand takes its inspiration from Henry’s extensive collection of vintage timepieces to present expressions of some of the greatest watchmaking styles of the early and mid twentieth century. While Henry himself maintains his massive archive of historic timepieces, the extreme rarity and value of some of these pieces drove him to create a brand that would make that style accessible to every enthusiast.
