The Q Timex is a homage to the brand’s early quartz timepieces from the 1970s. When first released, quartz was cutting edge technology that eventually turned the watch industry on its head. Precise and inexpensive, quartz represented the future of watch making. As a forward-thinking brand Timex adopted this technology and created many truly unique and exotic designs around it. The Qs exemplify this with their sporty, but extremely ‘70s case designs, fun use of color and exceptional bracelets.

Featuring an extremely wearable 38 x 43.3 x 12.4mm barrel case, the Q is an undeniably stylish watch. It’s also very well finished, especially for the price. With a bi-directional 12-hr bezel with colorful two-tone inserts for tracking multiple time zones, and a flat dial with large diver-style lume plots, the Q just begs to go on adventures. From the side, the case design’s unique lines really become clear, as the blue undercut bezel and sleek curves give the watch a spaceship-like profile. Fitted to an exceptional steel bracelet that exudes vintage charm, the Q is truly a watch like no other.

Ticking away inside of the Q is a Seiko quartz caliber for reliable time keeping. A nice feature to this movement is the day/date indicator shown at three on the dial. Additionally, the case has been designed with an easy access battery hatch, allowing you to swap the battery at home.
