Some watches look like they are inspired by vintage watches, while others look like they only could have come from the past. The Yema Rallye “Brown Sugar” is one such watch. Born in the ‘70s, and recreated only recently, the mix of a brown gradient dial and gold accents earns it its distinctive nickname. For fans of watches from an era where watch design took greater risks, this is not one to miss.

Featuring a 39 x 48mm case, the Rallye “Brown Sugar” stays very true to the original’s dimensions, giving you a more nostalgic experience. That said, it’s still a substantially sized watch that has plenty of wrist presence. The dial steals the show, however, with a layered design featuring bright gold, brushed sub-dials with a distinctly ‘70s shape. The top surface is painted in a dark brown that fades towards the center of the dial for a cool look.

Yema has utilized the Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph to power the Rallye “Brown Sugar”. The 7753 is an automatic and features 27-jewels, hand-winding, stop-watch-function, 44-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28,800 bph and hacking seconds (the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out).
