After the success of the Snorkel limited editions last year and the new Sea Hunter collection, the team at Bulova came to us with a simple question: how could they create the “perfect” version of the Sea Hunter for us? Well, Bulova took our feedback to heart and created our favorite iteration of the Sea Hunter to date: a rich green dial with vintage-esque indices, a stainless steel case, and an extra nylon strap. Topping it all off, they even made it into a no-date variant. By making a few small changes to the aesthetics of the watch, we think this might just be the best-looking Sea Hunter to date, although we might be a little biased. Despite all of our changes, a few elements of the original model were retained, and we’re happy they stuck around, namely the clicky bezel, stock bracelet option, and the reliable Miyota 8125 movement inside.

Introduced earlier this month in San Francisco, the Bulova x Windup Watch Shop Sea Hunter is currently available for preorder, with shipping to begin in June. Inventory will be on hand and available for purchase at both the Chicago and New York City fairs later this year. This new limited edition is available for purchase exclusively through the Windup Watch Shop, and is limited to just 225 unnumbered pieces, priced at $380 USD. A total of 75 pieces will be allocated for sale at our remaining 2026 Windup Watch Fairs, with any additional pieces available online between fairs.
