Here at the Windup Watch shop, we’ve informally referred to our product selection as an extension of the Windup Watch Fairs that occur throughout the year. Without further ado, we’re ecstatic to announce that we’re officially an authorized retailer for one of New York’s home brands, Brew Watches. If you’re not familiar with Brew Watches, they’re a rapidly growing independent brand with deep roots right here in our home city. At the helm, Jonathan Ferrer blends a love of coffee, thoughtful design inspiration, and quality craftsmanship, proving over and over again that you don’t have to spend a fortune to own a watch that’s something special. Since the brand’s inception, we’ve been fortunate enough to watch Brew grow, collaborate on several special editions, and now stock their watches. The Metric Chronograph is built around a compact, 1970s-inspired case, with blended steel and contrasting brushed finishing giving it an industrial edge without pushing the size into oversized territory. It comes in three dial treatments: Retro Black with a black multi-color face and recessed subdials, Silver with a vertically brushed silver face and matching recessed subdials, and Bloom with a three-dimensional copper dial whose rippled texture is meant to echo espresso blooming in a cup. The Retro Black version is a Red Dot Design Concept Award recipient for 2026.

The case measures 36mm by 41.5mm, 10.75mm thick, with a 19.85mm lug width, machined from 316L stainless steel with a matching steel caseback. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and all three versions come on a brushed-and-polished stainless steel band with a folding clasp and micro-adjustments; the Bloom colorway's band adds quick-release spring bars for faster strap changes.

Timekeeping runs on a hybrid VK68 meca-quartz chronograph movement, combining a mechanical chronograph module with a quartz timekeeping base. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM (50 meters), enough for daily wear and incidental water exposure.

The Retrograph Chronograph was designed around a specific job: timing an espresso shot in the 25-to-35-second range, while its 60-minute totalizer handles anything longer. That utilitarian brief comes through in three distinct dial treatments. Technicolor pairs a matte blue face with silver subdials on a dark blue leather strap; Rosegold Espresso Chocolate wraps a chocolate-toned sunburst dial in a rosegold PVD-plated case; and Lumint goes fully luminescent, with a mint-white dial designed to glow across its full face rather than just the hands and markers.

The case measures 38mm by 41.5mm, 10.4mm thick, with a 22mm lug width. Technicolor and Lumint use a 316L stainless steel case and caseback, while the Rosegold Espresso Chocolate version applies a rosegold PVD plating over the same 316L stainless steel construction. A sapphire crystal covers each dial, and all three come on a 22mm leather strap fitted with quick-release spring bars for faster swaps.

Inside, the movement is a hybrid meca-quartz chronograph, running the chronograph function mechanically off a quartz timekeeping base. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM (50 meters), enough for daily wear and incidental water exposure.

The Metric Lite is Brew's smallest watch to date, built at 30mm around a vintage-inspired case that trades size for a more understated, dressier presence. Both colorways use genuine stone dials rather than printed finishes, so no two watches read quite the same: Tiger Eye is cut from natural tiger's eye stone, its golden and earthy tones shifting with the light, while Tahitian Pearl uses mother of pearl for a dial that shows shifting iridescence and depth as it catches light.

The case measures 30mm by 34mm, 10.55mm thick, with an 18mm lug width, built from 316L stainless steel with a matching caseback. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and applied index markers sit against the stone surface on both versions. The band is brushed-and-polished stainless steel with quick-release spring bars, finished with a folding clasp and micro-adjustments for fit.

Power comes from an automatic 6T27 movement, winding off wrist motion rather than a battery. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM (50 meters), enough for daily wear and incidental water exposure.
