After the success of the Snorkel limited editions last year and the new Sea Hunter collection, the team at Bulova came to us with a simple question: how could they create the “perfect” version of the Sea Hunter for us? Well, Bulova took our feedback to heart and created our favorite iteration of the Sea Hunter to date: a rich green dial with vintage-esque indices, a stainless steel case, and an extra nylon strap. Topping it all off, they even made it into a no-date variant. By making a few small changes to the aesthetics of the watch, we think this might just be the best-looking Sea Hunter to date, although we might be a little biased. Despite all of our changes, a few elements of the original model were retained, and we’re happy they stuck around, namely the clicky bezel, stock bracelet option, and the reliable Miyota 8125 movement inside.

Initially launched at the San Francisco Windup Watch Fair this year, we’re happy to announce that an allocation of the release will be available for purchase, in person, this weekend at the Bulova booth during the Chicago Windup Watch Fair. Limited to just 225 unnumbered pieces and priced at $380, a total of 75 pieces will be available during the fair this weekend. For those who can’t make it to Chicago, don’t worry, an additional 75 pieces will be available at our New York City Windup Watch fair later this year.
