Bravur’s unique design vision mixes Scandinavian discipline with a keen eye for style. In the last two years, Bravur expanded into mechanical watches with first their BW003 series, a line of subtle vintage-inspired timepieces with luxurious detailing. They followed those up with the more descriptively titled Scandinavian series, which were value-focused, though no less rigorously designed. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re adding to the Windup Watch Shop Bravur’s newest mechanical line, the Geography GMTs, as well as two new colors of the BW003.
Bravur Geography
The Geography automatic GMTs celebrate the romanticism of travel with a luxurious mid-century design. Expertly finished 39mm cases made of Swedish steel house domed dials with a classic appeal. The large applied cardinal numerals ride the line between dress and casual, making the Geography a perfect watch for business or pleasure.
About the center of the dial in a delicately recessed region containing a 24-hour index for tracking a second timezone. For travelers, conductors of business abroad or simply those who enjoy some additional complexity, the Geography is a tasteful, sophisticated take on a traditional complication.
Powering the Geography is the Sellita SW330-1 automatic movement. Rhodium-plated, beautifully decorated and featuring a custom rotor, this 25-jewel Swiss-made automatic GMT is a reliable and robust engine. Visible through the sapphire case-back window, which is decorated with an electroplated timezone chart, the SW330-1’s decoration is sure to please.
The Bravur Geography GMT watches are available now for $1,650
The Geography is available in two versions, Sparkling White and Midnight Blue. Sparkling White is actually a combination of sunray silver and matte white surfaces with a surprising touch of teal. It’s a beautiful and slightly playful combination that looks great with tan leather and dark attire.
The Midnight blue version is a more provocative blend of a deep, dark metallic blue dial that elegantly shifts color in the light and gold accents. Clearly the more formal of the two, but still with a cool, mid-century attitude of its own, this is a conversation piece that would look amazing with a gray blazer.
New Bravur BW003 Colors
Additionally, we are adding two new colors of the BW003 to our collection, Bottle Green and Midnight Blue. Both extremely attractive additions, the Bottle Green mixes a dark, metallic olive green with gold accents and a white chapter ring for a combination that brings vintage Jaguars to mind.
Midnight Blue features a dark metallic blue center with silver accents and a white chapter ring. Similarly evoking mid-century aesthetics, the Midnight Blue is a classic, handsome variation on the very successful BW003 concept.
