Now in the Shop: Citizen’s Take on the Integrated Bracelet Steel Sports Watch
Words by Windup Watch Shop

There’s no denying the recent surge of popularity around integrated bracelet stainless steel sports watches in the market. Genta-designed icons like the AP Royal Oak and Patek Phillipe’s Nautilus have never fetched higher prices. But why leave all the fun to those who can most likely afford their own private island? Citizen’s Tsuyosa packs a ton of style and functionality into a watch that costs well under $500 – something you don’t have to take out a mortgage to enjoy. We’re thrilled to have this much-anticipated release in the shop, so let’s take a closer look at these colorful, fun, and affordable offerings from Citizen.

Integrated Design

It’s hard to match the distinct styling of an integrated bracelet design. The case and bracelet are designed as one piece, with the lugs flowing downwards directly into the bracelet. Citizen’s NJ015 opts for a circular dial design that’s surrounded by an angular case with sharp lines and a mix of brushed and polished finishes. Clocking in at 40mm, the case is right in that sweet spot to suit a wide range of wrist sizes. At 11.7mm thick, the watch is slim enough to slip under a cuff too. The Tsuyosa features 50 meters of water resistance, a sapphire crystal, and an automatic Miyota 8210 movement inside with some jazzy gold accents exclusive to Citizen.

More Colors, More Fun

Available in five colors, there’s a Tsuyosa for everyone. The more conservative black and blue dials are made more interesting with a sunburst treatment that will play with the light as you rotate your wrist. Large rectangular lume plus and a magnified date window at three result in a legible dial that you can read easily, day or night. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, there are also three more compelling color choices: a mid-tone vibrant green, bright golden yellow, or a pleasing shade of turquoise.

Between the feature-packed spec list, sharp design, and reasonable price tag, there’s a lot to like about the Tsuyosa. They’re now available in the Windup Watch Shop, so head over and pick up your new go-to summer watch. For $450, you can choose from black, blue, green, yellow, or turquoise dials. Like everything else in the shop, the Tsuyosa are eligible to help you rack up some Windup Rewards, which you can redeem later on for discounts on future purchases.
