Hamilton’s Khaki line of field watches traces its lineage across two world wars and over half a century of supplying the American and British militaries with rugged tool watches. Specifically produced for the civilian market, the Khakis have brought Hamilton’s mil-spec design to the masses since the 1980s. Compact, tough, and legible, the Khaki Field Quartz is a rugged companion for whatever awaits in the field.
The new Khaki Field Quartz 38 harkens back to those original watches, reviving the classic “Khaki” type on the dial at 6:00. The watch features the same hands as the original 2017 Khaki reissue with a new dial. Its 38mm case is a modern and versatile size, ideal for daily wear. Now featuring a revised minute track and triangle at twelve, the Khaki Field Quartz harkens back to Hamilton’s pre-Vietnam War military watches.
The Khaki Field Quartz is powered by ETA’s F06.105 caliber, a 3-jewel quartz movement with hacking and an end-of-life indicator. There are two black dials, one white, and one blue variant. Each is equipped with a rugged nylon pull-through strap in a complementary color.
