Autodromo has gone back to their roots with the Intereuropa watches, now available at Windup Watch Shop. Inspired by mid-century Italian sports cars, the Intereuropas exude style and glamour in a way few watches do. At 39mm with polished cases and wire lugs, they ride the line between dress and sport, like the nimble, elegant sports cars on which they are based. And, for the first time, Autodromo has included a Swiss-made hand-wound caliber, the ETA/Peseux 7001, as the engine. A supremely elegant movement, it allows for an overall thinner profile, and includes a sub-seconds at the six position.

Like the case, the dial mixes sporty and refined elements. Based on vintage tachymeters, the dial utilizes layers of glass and printing to create a great sense of depth in a small space. Hovering above the lower dial surface is a glass ring that features a railroad index and numerals for the minutes and hours. Adding yet another layer of depth, the numerals are then reprinted on the back of the sapphire crystal for a unique and gorgeous effect.
