Bulova Shelby® Racer Chronograph

Bulova extends its Shelby partnership with the latest Racer Chronograph, a limited-edition model inspired by the 50th Anniversary Aluminum Edition Daytona Coupe. Rather than borrowing loosely from the car, the design translates specific details directly onto the dial and case, aiming at those who want a genuine automotive tribute rather than a generic racing-inspired watch. It ships in a dedicated Shelby presentation box that includes a 1/24-scale silver-plated Daytona Coupe model and a second brown leather-padded strap.

The case is a high-polish stainless steel build at 40.5mm with a 22mm lug width, topped by a mirror-polished dial meant to echo the aluminum finish of the actual Daytona Coupe body. Subdials are styled after the car’s dash gauges, and the bracelet uses a split finish that mirrors the vehicle’s double racing stripes; a stainless steel deployant clasp with push-button release keeps it secure. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the dial, and the caseback carries a glass insert etched with both the Bulova and Daytona Coupe logos. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, and the finished piece weighs 173 grams.

Powering the watch is Bulova’s proprietary NP20 high-precision quartz movement, which oscillates at 262kHz — far above standard quartz frequencies — for tighter accuracy. That higher beat rate is also what allows the smooth, non-ticking sweep of the chronograph and running-seconds hands, giving the watch a fluid motion usually associated with mechanical movements rather than quartz.

Islander Brookville Calligraphy Edition

The Brookville is back in a Calligraphy Edition that keeps the same 38mm case people liked while reworking everything on top of it: dial, hands, crown, and bracelet are all new. The “Calligraphy” name comes from the dial’s parchment-like texture, and the design carries the theme further with a fountain pen nib standing in as the counterweight on the seconds hand, a detail easy to miss until you catch it turning. It’s offered in three dial colors, green, blue, and lavender, all built on the identical 38mm case and movement.

The applied Arabic numerals and markers are heavily filled with lume, sitting under a flat sapphire crystal with inner AR coating. A diamond-style crown, topped with a cabochon, screws down to help hold 100 meters of water resistance. The caseback is also screw-down and built with an exhibition window, showing off the blue Islander rotor and its engraved line: “Time is the great equalizer. It makes us all equal.” The 20mm bracelet uses quick-release pins, female endlinks for a better fit on smaller wrists, and screw-secured links for easy sizing, finishing in a tool-less micro-adjust clasp that tapers to 16mm. A matching FKM rubber strap with its own quick-release spring bars ships alongside it, so the look can be swapped without extra tools.

Inside is the Miyota 9039, an automatic movement running at 28,800 bph. It is a true no-date movement, so there isn’t a “ghost” date wheel position when using the crown. It can also be hand-wound, holding roughly 40 hours of power reserve on a full wind.

Marathon ADANAC® 3000 Digital Stopwatch Timer

The ADANAC 3000 is built as a working tool first, aimed at coaches, officials, and anyone who needs to track time down to the hundredth of a second without babying the equipment. That combination keeps the ADANAC 3000 precise where it matters most — the opening minutes of a race or drill — without needing constant recalibration.

The QXA849 is Seiko’s diver watch transposed to the wall — same design language as the Prospex lineup, same applied indices, same LumiBrite on the hands and hour markers, scaled up to 18 inches and hung on a nail instead of a wrist. The aluminum bezel ring carries minute and second indicators in exactly the format you’d find on a rotating dive bezel, and the sweep second hand runs on a quiet quartz movement with no audible tick.
