01 Treat Yourself

Oris Big Crown x Cervo Volante

Oris Big Crown x Cervo Volante

Oris has been making pilot’s watches since 1910. The Big Crown Pointer Date combines vintage typography and a coin-edge bezel to blend refined casual style with a vintage-inspired sports watch design.

Available in a 40mm brushed case, it features cathedral hands and an elegant dial index layout. The signature pointer date complication runs along the dial’s outer edge for quick readability.

This collaboration with sustainable brand Cervo Volante includes straps, carrying cases, and card wallets made from vegetable-tanned, upcycled deer leather.

02 Value Pick

Timex Marlin Neo Classic Blue Chronograph

Timex Marlin Neo Classic Blue Chronograph

The Marlin has always been one of Timex’s most quietly confident vintage silhouettes, and this Neo Classic Chronograph takes that mid-century foundation and sharpens it into something more streamlined without losing any of its warmth. A new 40mm case keeps the proportions compact and wearable, while each of the three dials leans into a different piece of the Marlin’s heritage: a silver-tone face with soft multicolor accents and light blue subdials, or a cream multiscale face finished with metallic blue Arabic numerals and matching hands, both built around a sub-second dial and a 24-hour sub-dial inspired by vintage instrument scales.

Brushed stainless steel forms the case on every version, with a polished top ring and curved pushers that keep the overall silhouette understated rather than sporty. A vintage-style domed acrylic crystal sits over the dial, a deliberate choice that nods to the soft, shatter-resistant glass used on the original Marlin rather than a harder, flatter modern crystal. From there, the three references split by strap: a brown leather strap pairs with the silver-tone multicolor dial, a black leather strap pairs with the cream dial, and a stainless steel bracelet with quick-release spring bars and a sleek butterfly clasp rounds out the cream-dial bracelet version for a dressier, tool-free-sizing option.

Inside is a quartz chronograph movement, offering precise, low-maintenance timekeeping plus a stopwatch function controlled by the case’s two curved pushers, with a tachymeter scale on the inner dial for tracking average speed. The watch is rated for light swimming, though it’s not built for snorkeling or poolside diving, and buttons should stay untouched underwater to preserve that water resistance.

03 Not Another Watch!

Worn & Wound Stay Golden Character Hat

Worn & Wound Stay Golden Character Hat

Inspired by the stylized drawings of vintage comics, such as Robert Crumb’s, graphic and product designer Matt Smith-Johnson created a series of fun, unique watch characters exclusively for Worn & Wound. Each character, jovial and full of personality, comes with a catchphrase embodying some aspect of being a watch enthusiast. From celebrating our collective nerdiness to just the joy we find in timepieces, there is certainly a character or two that will resonate with you.

Sometimes, as a watch collector, you feel a bit fancy. Maybe you’re wearing your dressiest watch with jeans or throwing on some formal attire for no reason just to match your watch. Either way, you know the feeling. ‘Stay Golden’ is all about that, characterized by a golden pocket watch with a monocle, mustache hands, and a smiling moonphase mouth.

04 Upgrade Your EDC

MaxMadCo Design Gen 3 Titanium Bolt Action Pen

MaxMadCo Design Gen 3 Titanium Bolt Action Pen

Limited to just 1,000 pieces, the MaxMadCo Design Bolt Action Pen – Gen 3 is a precision writing instrument born from legacy and reimagined for today. Originally conceptualized over 25 years ago, this design returns with full approval and collaboration from the original inventor—refined with updated materials and modern performance enhancements.

Crafted from Grade 5 Titanium, the Gen 3 pen is lightweight yet rugged, featuring a custom oversized bolt designed for ease of use, even while wearing gloves. The clip has been reinforced for maximum strength and reliability, while the signature TOPO pattern adds the final Windup touch.

Inside, it comes loaded with a Schmidt 9000M refill, delivering smooth, German-made ink performance. Whether you’re jotting notes, sketching ideas, or rounding out your collection, this limited-edition pen is built to last—and to be used.

05 The Windup Wildcard

echo/neutra Averau Ceramic Sand Collection

echo/neutra Averau Ceramic Sand Collection

The Averau Ceramic line picks up a new sand-dial finish, trading the collection’s usual dark palette for a warm, understated tone that plays off the case’s matte black ceramic shell. It comes in two forms: the 3H, a clean time-only version, and the Chrono, which adds a full chronograph module while keeping the same design language and dial color.

Both versions share a 42mm matte black ceramic case, chosen for being lightweight, scratch-resistant, and thermally stable enough to sit comfortably against skin. Reinforcing the case is echo/neutra’s Grade 2 titanium TiFrame system, built specifically to strengthen the lugs — typically one of the more failure-prone points where a strap attaches. The closed caseback is also Grade 2 titanium, engraved with the collection logo and an individual serial number per watch. A domed sapphire crystal and screw-down crown carry through on both models, along with a 51.5mm lug-to-lug and 100m of water resistance. Where they diverge is thickness: the 3H stays slim at 10.5mm, while the Chrono’s added complication pushes it out to 14.6mm.

Movement is where the two models really separate. The 3H runs on the Sellita SW200-1 automatic elaboré, a clean three-hand caliber built to elaboré-grade finishing and regulation standards. The Chrono instead uses the Sellita SW510B-1 automatic elaboré, a purpose-built chronograph movement that adds stopwatch functions without sacrificing the elaboré-level accuracy and finishing Sellita’s higher grades are known for.
