echo/neutra Averau Ceramic Sand

The Averau Ceramic line picks up a new sand-dial finish, trading the collection’s usual dark palette for a warm, understated tone that plays off the case’s matte black ceramic shell. It comes in two forms: the 3H, a clean time-only version, and the Chrono, which adds a full chronograph module while keeping the same design language and dial color.

Both versions share a 42mm matte black ceramic case, chosen for being lightweight, scratch-resistant, and thermally stable enough to sit comfortably against skin. Reinforcing the case is echo/neutra’s Grade 2 titanium TiFrame system, built specifically to strengthen the lugs — typically one of the more failure-prone points where a strap attaches. The closed caseback is also Grade 2 titanium, engraved with the collection logo and an individual serial number per watch. A domed sapphire crystal and screw-down crown carry through on both models, along with a 51.5mm lug-to-lug and 100m of water resistance. Where they diverge is thickness: the 3H stays slim at 10.5mm, while the Chrono’s added complication pushes it out to 14.6mm.

Movement is where the two models really separate. The 3H runs on the Sellita SW200-1 automatic elaboré, a clean three-hand caliber built to elaboré-grade finishing and regulation standards. The Chrono instead uses the Sellita SW510B-1 automatic elaboré, a purpose-built chronograph movement that adds stopwatch functions without sacrificing the elaboré-level accuracy and finishing Sellita’s higher grades are known for.

Wolbrook Skindiver WT Automatic

The Skindiver WT Automatic has straddled sea and sky since the late 1950s, built as a genuine crossover between dive watch and pilot’s instrument. This Aéro-Club de France edition carries that dual identity forward with a blue dial marked by the club’s emblem and finished in C3 Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility, plus a decimeter scale on the outer ring — dividing each hour into 100ths rather than 60, a format pilots use for quick fuel and speed math in the cockpit. Wolbrook is an official supplier to the Aéro-Club de France, and a share of each sale supports the club’s public-interest mission promoting aerospace activities.

The case is 40mm across, 48mm lug-to-lug, 13.2mm thick, with a 20mm lug width, machined from hand-finished brushed 316L stainless steel and built on Wolbrook’s HexapleX architecture — a mono-bloc middle case with 3D rubber shock absorbers that let the movement “float” inside its holder, shielding it from impact. A domed, glass-box sapphire crystal with inside anti-reflective coating sits up top, and both the crown and caseback screw down to hold 150m/15 ATM of water resistance. Drilled lugs make strap swaps straightforward, and the caseback has room to laser-engrave a name or personal line. This build is fitted to the dark blue Tropic rubber strap.

Power comes from a Citizen/Miyota 8315 automatic movement with roughly 60 hours of power reserve and a hacking seconds function, regulated to a ±15-second daily tolerance and 0.6ms beat error. Like all Wolbrook watches, it’s assembled by hand in France, near Besançon, with a customized “roulette”-style date disk regulated in-house.

The titanium-only configuration keeps things clean. Both setups use the same deep-carry clip and lanyard hole for keychain attachment.
