Venezianico was established in 2017 by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli, bringing together a shared passion for design and fine watchmaking. The concept took shape during their time studying at Ca' Foscari University, where they set out to craft timepieces that capture the authentic spirit of their hometown, Venice, alongside traditional craftsmanship.Driven by a commitment to originality and innovation, the brand remains deeply connected to Venetian history and culture. THE ARSENALE BIZANTINO

Arsenale Bizantino is born from the encounter between the decorative richness of Constantinople's art and the essential purity of Venezianico's design language. Byzantine geometric patterns, interlaced motifs, and a symbolic use of light shaped centuries of Venetian architecture — from the domes of St. Mark's Basilica to the mosaics that illuminate its interiors — and that shared visual language is reinterpreted here through the sharp proportions of the case and bracelet.

The case is 40mm engraved 316L stainless steel, 44mm lug-to-lug, and just 9.95mm thick including the crystal, with each engraving sculpted through a carefully controlled process that produces sharp, consistent reliefs across the case and bezel. The anthracite dial is brass enamel with a smoked sunburst finish, its fumé gradient deepening the contrast against the engraved surfaces, and BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the indexes keeps it legible after dark. A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating sits above a screwed crown, while the caseback is engraved with a minimalist take on Justinian and Theodora, the Byzantine emperor and empress whose imagery has long echoed through Venetian art, and is fixed with six screws. The bracelet carries the same craftsmanship link by link, with geometric engravings that continue the case's visual rhythm. Power comes from the Miyota 9039, an automatic 3-hand movement with no date — a deliberate choice that keeps the dial uncluttered so the engraved case and sunburst finish stay the focus.

THE NEREIDE CERAMICA

The Nereide (or “Sea Nymph”) is fittingly inspired by the Venetian-built submarine of the same name launched in 1913. The 42mm Ceramica is one of the most traditional in the Nereide collection, featuring a pair of classic enamel dials in black and white with aquamarine accents. Both are paired with a black ceramic bezel and feature flat sapphire crystals. With 200m of water resistance, the sleek design is ready for more than topside duty. The Ceramica is fitted to a three-link stainless steel bracelet that effortlessly blends style and performance.

Underneath the engraving of the Nereide on the caseback is a Sellita SW200-1. A Swiss-made automatic movement, it features 26 jewels, hacking, hand-winding, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 38 hours.

THE ARSENALE 40

The integrated bracelet steel sports watch — an icon of 1970s design — has been decidedly à la mode in recent years, thanks in no small part to the widespread acclaim of many reissued designs from the period. Venezianico has leaped into the fray with their Arsenale 40, a collection of three boldly patterned dials named after the ancient Venetian shipyard in contemporary 40mm steel cases. The three dial variants, in vibrant amethyst, deep blue, and stark grey, feature sharp Côtes de Genève finishing with applied baton markers and skeletonized hands.

The Arsenale 40 is powered by the Miyota 9029, a premium ultra-thin caliber from the Japanese manufacturer. It features 24 jewels, hacking, hand winding, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 42 hours. The movements in use are true no-date.

THE REDENTORE BELLANOTTE

The Redentore Bellanotte takes its name from the Basilica del Redentore, Andrea Palladio's Venetian landmark, and channels the city's Feast of the Redentore — a celebration marking the end of the 1576 plague. The dial is an evocative scene of St. Mark's Square by night: the Basilica di San Giorgio Maggiore in the background, the Doge's Palace to the left, and the lion of St. Mark standing at the center as fireworks light a starry sky.

The 316L stainless steel case measures 40mm across, 46.7mm lug-to-lug, and just 11.5mm thick, with an onion-shaped crown and reduced crown guard for easier adjustment, and curved lug attachments for wrist comfort. What sets Bellanotte apart is its four-layer dial construction: a starry sky in aventurine sits behind a small off-center disc in white mother-of-pearl — symbolizing the moon and framed by a polished steel ring — layered over a satin-finished fireworks disc set against rhodium-plated bas-reliefs of the Doge's Palace and Basilica di San Giorgio Maggiore. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, the caseback is engraved with the Basilica del Redentore and its fireworks alongside an explanatory inscription.

The four-level dial is made possible by a compact automatic movement — the Seiko NH05A caliber, with a movement diameter of just 17.55mm — secured with a brass ring finished in perlage. It's a simple 2-hand automatic, chosen specifically to keep the dial construction thin enough for the layered scene to read clearly.

THE NEREIDE 42 STONE DIAL COLLECTION

Developed as an extension of the Nereide collection, these references retain the same DNA while incorporating stone dials. The Avventurina's dial is created through the introduction of copper crystals in molten glass; the Ametista is crafted from a cut 0.4mm disk of amethyst; the Lapislazzuli wears a lapis lazuli stone dial, thin veins of pyrite adding a vibrant gold accent; the Aureo is treated with a 24-karat gold galvanic finish and tumbled for a rippled, hand-hammered texture; and the Malachite wears a precision-cut 0.4mm layer of natural malachite stone, its swirling green striations unique to each dial. The Avventurina, Ametista, and Lapislazzuli are each paired with a matching Italian-made rubber strap, while the Aureo and Malachite are fitted to the new Sansovino bracelet, a five-link design of polished and satin-finished steel with a micro-adjustable clasp.
