Welcome to the Windup Watch Shop! Since we just launched, and this is likely your first time visiting, we wanted to give you a quick overview of some of the features and destinations within. Let’s get to it.

Home Page

This is your basic homepage, complete with large banner that will update regularly, a bunch of clickable items to take you to cool sections of the site, social media and more. Something worth checking out upon return visits is the category section. Here, we’ll add some fun curated guides that will be relevant to the current season, or highlight something cool.

Menu

At the top of your browser you’ll find our newly designed visual menu with: Watches, Straps, Accessories, Chronicle and then Windup Watch Fair. Clicking on them will bring you directly to the main page for each, while hovering will get you a dropdown with various, more detailed options. Give it a shot, it’s pretty intuitive.

On the far right you’ll see a graphic for the Windup Watch Fair. Hovering here will bring up info about the next Windup Watch Fair. Clicking “more” will take you on to our dedicated Windup Watch Fair page. On the right, you’ll find a section for what’s new, which will quickly take you to some of our newest Chronicle articles.

Listing Pages: Watches, Straps, Accessories

If you click on Watches, Straps or Accessories, you’ll get to a listing page for that respective category. Here you will find a column on the left with sorting options, and three rows of product images. You can either browse everything at once, or drill down to find something specific. Hovering over an item will bring up a secondary shot showing perhaps a watch on a wrist, or a relevant action shot.

Product Pages

Clicking through to a product will take you to one of our photo-centric product pages. Here, you will be met with a large lifestyle shot of the product you are interested in. On top of this image you’ll also find any alternate colors for that product. Clicking on them will switch all of the imagery on the page without making you leave the page.

Scrolling down, you’ll find product details, followed by a slider of images with original photographs. We’ve gone out of our way to take photos to highlight the interesting and unique details of the products we carry. On each picture will be a bit of text calling something out. Clicking on the image will bring up a larger version, many of which contain an even greater description.

Lastly, while you’re navigating a product page and want to switch to a different color, but don’t want to scroll all the way back to the top, just click the “buy now” bar under the menu, and choose a different color. That will instantly switch the whole page.

Brand Pages

Every brand featured in the Windup Watch Shop has a dedicated brand page, telling a bit of their story and highlighting some of their watches. To get there, just go to the watches menu and click “all brands.”

Chronicle

As part of the new shop, we’re creating a new blog roll called the Windup Chronicle. Here, you will find news and articles pertaining to the Windup shop, the brands we feature and other cool and fun things we find along the way.

Help and Customer Service

Last but not least, if you ever need assistance while on the Windup Watch Shop, click the gray help button in the bottom right corner. A window will pop up with either live assistance or a contact form. Either way, we’ll do our best to help you out.
