The G-SHOCK MRG-B2000KT-3A is a limited-edition flagship from the MR-G line, combining traditional Japanese metalsmithing with advanced shock-resistant technology. The watch features a bezel handcrafted by master metalsmith Masao Kobayashi, featuring an engraving of a phoenix in flight inspired by the tsuba (iron guard) of a Japanese sword. Finished in a distinctive kurogane-iro (iron color) achieved through a green DLC coating on deep-layer hardened titanium, the design is further elevated by four emerald-set bezel screws symbolizing wisdom.
The 49.8mm case is constructed from pure titanium with a recrystallized pattern that projects the beauty of the nie patterns on a sword blade. For enhanced durability, the case and titanium clasp undergo a deep-layer hardening process and a brown AIP (Arc Ion Plating) coating. To ensure comfort during active use, the watch is fitted with a dark green Dura Soft rubber strap that is resistant to discoloration and aging.
Inside, the timepiece is powered by Tough Solar 5625 Module which features Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping and Bluetooth® Smartphone Link for global accuracy. The Clad Guard Structure provides integrated protection for the crown and buttons, maintaining water resistance up to 200 meters. Hand-assembled at Casio's elite Yamagata Premium Production Line, the MR-G "Phoenix" is backed by a 5-year international warranty.

G-SHOCK was born from a simple idea — a watch should not break when dropped. Back in 1983, the original square-shaped DW-5000C was created after Kikuo Ibe witnessed a child bouncing a rubber ball. It struck him that a watch floating within a rubber case would be impervious to shocks. After a bunch of testing and design with toughness in mind, the brand was born. Nearly 35 years and hundreds of models later, G-SHOCK is still best known for being some of the toughest, hard-wearing watches that money can buy.
