Casio and G-Shock are stalwarts of practicality, durability, and reliability. Though there have been countless variations and models of G-Shock over the decades since its inception, the 2100 series form factor is one of the most recognizable. The three multi-colored variants are simply the latest in options designed to cater to every taste and style. Don’t be fooled by their playful nature, though – these watches pack all the same functionality you have come to expect from Casio G-Shock GA-2100s.

The GA-2100 is marked by its famous octagonal bezel and case, which is flanked by four pushers. The carbon case measures 45.4 mm across, 48.5 mm long, and 11.9 mm thick. It is light on the wrist, 52 g, and features an integrated resin band. A proprietary carbon core structure helps the case handle shocks and bumps. Water resistance is a more-than-serviceable 200 m.

The GA-2100 series watches are powered by Casio’s solar quartz movements with legion functionality, including (but not limited to) world time, alarm, stopwatch, automatic calendar, light, and Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones. They are accurate to +/- 15 seconds a month without Bluetooth syncing and have a power saving mode when the watch is left in the dark. The three new colorful references have splashes of color on bezel text, rehaut hour markers, dial text, and hands.

About G-Shock

G-SHOCK was born from a simple idea — a watch should not break when dropped. Back in 1983, the original square-shaped DW-5000C was created after Kikuo Ibe witnessed a child bouncing a rubber ball. It struck him that a watch floating within a rubber case would be impervious to shocks. After a bunch of testing and design with toughness in mind, the brand was born. Nearly 35 years and hundreds of models later, G-SHOCK is still best known for being some of the toughest, hard-wearing watches that money can buy.
