The Citizen Promaster Land GMT is a travel-oriented tool watch built with a focus on field-ready durability and practical functionality. It features a high-contrast dial with a fixed 24-hour GMT bezel, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone alongside local time. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal, and the watch is engineered to meet ISO standards for water resistance up to 200 meters. Available in two distinct executions, the BJ7150-50W features a textured red dial on a stainless steel bracelet, while the BJ7150-09L offers a navy blue dial paired with a durable grey nylon strap.

Designed with a more compact silhouette than many professional tool watches, the Promaster Land GMT features a 39.5mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.4mm. The lug-to-lug distance is approximately 43.7mm, providing a balanced fit that avoids overhang on a variety of wrist sizes. The case is equipped with a screw-down crown and a solid screw-in caseback, contributing to its professional-grade depth rating. For low-light legibility, the oversized hands and markers are treated with high-performance luminous material.

The watch is powered by the Eco-Drive Caliber B877 (or B878), a light-powered GMT movement that eliminates the need for battery replacements. This is a "traveler" or "flyer" GMT, which allows for the independent adjustment of the local hour hand in one-hour increments without stopping the movement. The system provides approximately 6 to 9 months of power reserve on a full charge and includes a date window at the 3 o'clock position. Every model arrives in the signature Promaster "tackle box" packaging, emphasizing its intent as an expedition-ready instrument.

About Citizen

With a history that dates back to the founding of the Shokosha Watch Research Institute in 1918, Citizen Watch Co. was formally established in 1930 with the goal of creating high-quality yet accessible timepieces for the Japanese market. Headquartered in Nishitokyo, Tokyo, Japan, Citizen is one of the world's largest and most vertically-integrated watch manufacturers. In addition to producing timepieces under its own name, Citizen also serves as the parent company for a number of other brands including Bulova, Alpina, Arnold & Son, Frederique Constant, Campanola, and Miyota. Citizen’s list of horological accomplishments is both long and impressive, including everything from creating Japan’s first fully-waterproof wristwatch to currently holding the title for the world’s most accurate movement, which is capable of astonishing precision within just one second per year.
