This vintage Rolex Datejust ref. 1603 is a clean and crisp example of a linen dial model from the early 70s. The 36mm stainless steel case has seen a polish in the past but retains sharp lines, corners, and radial brushing on the top of the lugs and still has plenty of patina. The engine-turned-bezel is a handsome detail that brings a stately charm. The signed crown screws down tightly and is in excellent condition. The star, however, is the warm gray linen pie-pan dial. A genuinely handsome look, this non-luminous version features tall markers and matching hands. 

Completing the look is a solid-link jubilee 62510H/555 bracelet with a signed clasp in excellent condition. It dates to 1987 and is a perfect match to the Datejust ref. 1603.
