The Ollech & Wajs Navichron is a multi-purpose tool chronograph with vintage looks that is built like a tank. Inspired and named after an important line of chronographs from the brand’s archives, the modern Navichron is the definition of a sleeper. At a glance, it might appear a simple if stylish two-register chronograph, but in reality, it’s a rugged tool watch with 500m of water resistance and a highly functional design. 

The Navichron features a classic dial design in an “inverse” panda arrangement, meaning it has a black surface with white sub-dials. Large lumed markers dot the hours, while minutes and elapsed seconds are read via a printed index along the dial edge. A brushed steel bezel adds the hours, as well as a method for tracking a second time zone, immediately making the Navichron a great travel watch. Despite its overbuilt specs, the Navichron measures a comfortable 39.56mm x 49.5mm, making it easy to wear.

Powering the robust Navichron is an equally tough movement, the Swiss-made Valjoux 7753. An iconic movement in its own right, it’s a 27-jewel automatic with date, chronograph (stop watch), hacking, handwinding, a 54 hour power reserve, and a frequency of 28,800 bph. A unique feature of the Valjoux 7753 is that the date is set via a sunken pusher at the 10 position. Ollech & Wajs customize the movement with an engraving on the mainplate and a machined rotor. Additionally, the movements are adjusted in 5 positions for greater accuracy. 

The Navichron is available on an perforated leather strap or with an additional OW S-Type Mark II steel bracelet.
