G-Shock is doing what it does best: produce purpose-built and designed watches that anyone can buy and take to the remote ends of the earth. Virtually all of its product lineup is capable of handling intense amounts of action and adventure. A new duo of watches under the “Master of G- Land” line, or the Rangeman, brings a unique take on an outdoor gear essential from the world’s most famous rugged watch brand.

The Rangeman GPR-H1000 was designed to handle off-trail escapades. It sports mud-resistant features to seal the case from dust or dirt, and the case itself (measuring 53.2mm wide, 60.6 mm long, and 20.3 mm thick) is protected by metal components on the side. It is made of bio-based resin and weighs only 92 grams on the wrist. The fully digital dial shows an incredible amount of information and was designed to be legible in all conditions. The Rangeman watches come with resin straps with plenty of adjustability.

Inside the GPR-H1000 series Rangeman watches is an array of sensors capable of tracking running/swimming/biking pace with GPS, cardio load status, lap data, heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, breathing, steps, and more. From an environmental standpoint, additional sensors allow tracking of altitude, air pressure, and temperature, among other metrics. Mobile link capabilities with Bluetooth further enhance functionality with time setting and adjustment. Simply put, this watch has an unprecedented amount of functionality and is ideal for anyone looking for a one-stop shop for all things adventure.

About G-Shock

G-SHOCK was born from a simple idea — a watch should not break when dropped. Back in 1983, the original square-shaped DW-5000C was created after Kikuo Ibe witnessed a child bouncing a rubber ball. It struck him that a watch floating within a rubber case would be impervious to shocks. After a bunch of testing and design with toughness in mind, the brand was born. Nearly 35 years and hundreds of models later, G-SHOCK is still best known for being some of the toughest, hard-wearing watches that money can buy.
