"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" is a question millions of children and adults have lived with for 25 years. When Spongebob Squarepants first aired in 1999, it's creators could only dream of the show having such lasting power. To celebrate this achievement, the Nickelodeon show has collaborated with Spinnaker to release the Spongebob x Spinnaker Hass Automatic 25th Limited Edition collection.
The collection consists of four watches, each representing a main character from the show. There is of course Spongebob, which features a yellow dial with the character's face at its center. Patrick, in a bubblegum pink. Squidward, in a light mossy green. And finally, Mr. Krab in a lobster red. Each watch also features one of Spongebob's most memorable quotes, "You never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory".
Beyond the aesthetic differences, each watch maintains the specifications found in Spinnaker’s popular Hass line. An NH35 movement, with a BPH of 21600 and a reserve of 41 hours, powers each watch. Water resistance is 300 meters. Additionally, each watch will arrive with a color matched silicone strap.
Each watch within the Spongebob x Spinnaker Hass Automatic 25th Limited Edition collection is limited to 300 pieces.
