Eight years into production, the Boldr Venture has earned its place as a modern field-watch staple: no vintage cosplay, no unnecessary complications, just a tough titanium case built to go anywhere. Windup Watch Shop first partnered with Boldr on two exclusive versions five years back, and this new run picks up that collaboration with a bolder design direction. It's the first in a planned series of three limited releases dropping over six months, each capped at 100 pieces, with this sand-dial edition kicking things off.

The layout keeps the same 38mm x 42mm x 12mm titanium case, 20mm lug width, sapphire crystal, and 200m water resistance that made the original Venture work, but reworks the dial with oversized numerals at 15, 45, and 60, a date window shifted to the 30 position, and a centered crosshair. A new chapter ring adds a second color layer and doubles as the canvas for the release's biggest upgrade: cast lume, applied as raised blocks at each hour marker on the dial and as rectangles and dots around the chapter ring, with the dot markers glowing icy blue against bright green everywhere else.

Color carries through the rest of the dial: a warm sand base, dark gray chapter ring and crosshair, dark red Boldr branding and text, and a turquoise date wheel echoed in the minute hand. Pale gray hour and second hands round out the palette, and the whole thing sits on a sand-toned mil-strap for a look that lands somewhere between adventurous and understated. Power comes from the Miyota 9015 automatic movement, which adds hacking seconds, hand-winding, and a quick-set date to the reliable timekeeping the Venture line is known for.

The Venture LE V3 will begin shipping at the end of November 2026.
