There are few better ways to channel the warm glow of the summer sun on your wrist than with a gold-toned watch case. New in the shop is a pair of gold-toned stainless steel cased Promaster Dive watches from Citizen that could be your next go-to summer watch. Let’s take a closer look at this pair of divers that are just begging to hit the beach, pool, or lake.
Housed in a 44mm case, the Promaster Dive packs in a ton of legitimate dive watch specs. 200 meters of water resistance is more than enough for both the casual swimmer and professional diver. These watches are ISO-certified as dive watches, which comes along with a unidirectional minutes bezel, lume-treated hands, and a reliable Eco-Drive movement inside. While the specs may be on the serious side, the overall look is much more fun.
Available in a Gold/Blue and a Gold/Gray, both of these watches make use of color in a fun and interesting way. The Gold/Blue comes strapped to a bright turquoise polyurethane dive-style strap that picks up on the bright blue dial. Big, bold applied indices are filled with lume and bordered by gold metal, bringing the color of the case into the dial. The large, legible hands feature pops of red and yellow, making them jump off the blue base. For the gray model, you’ll find the same treatment, except for the gorgeous patterned gray dial. The abstract wave pattern is rendered in a mix of dark and light cool gray tones, making the gold accents on the watch really pop.
At just $395, these new Citizen Promaster Dive Eco-Drive represent an excellent value, where you’re getting a lot for the cost. Head over to the shop to learn more about this fun and functional pair of divers. Who knows, maybe one could be your next summer watch?
