TREAT YOURSELF

Echo/neutra expands its Rivanera lineup with the Ros'Antico, featuring a muted, antique pink dial paired with a sandblasted Grade 5 titanium case. Blued hands and a matching Saffiano leather strap offer a sharp visual contrast. It’s a calculated aesthetic balance: the dial's warmth is tempered by the titanium's matte grey tones, resulting in a piece that feels both sophisticated and distinct without being overly bold. The new Rivanera Ros’Antico retails for $1,810 and is currently available in our Windup Watch Brooklyn Showroom. If you’re unable to visit the showroom, please reach out to our staff via the “Inquire” button on the product page.
The Rivanera utilizes sandblasted Grade 5 titanium cases topped with flat sapphire crystals and exhibition casebacks. This rectangular silhouette draws from Art Deco inspiration while maintaining a modern edge, aided by the material's lightweight properties. The Rivanera weighs in at only 21g and features a 30-meter water resistance rating, making it a true dress watch. The Rivanera comes on blue Saffiano leather and includes a complimentary rubber strap, increasing its overall versatility.
Powering the Rivanera is the ETA 7001 in an elaboré finish. This manual-wind movement operates at 21,600 vph, provides a 42-hour power reserve, and features a classic small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. It’s a high-grade mechanical choice that looks just as good through the sapphire caseback as the dial does from the front.
VALUE PICK

The DW-5600MNC Series marks a significant milestone as Casio’s first official release to integrate a factory-spec FIDLOCK® magnetic buckle. Commonly found in technical outerwear and cycling equipment, this hardware uses magnets to snap the clasp shut with mechanical security. The watch is paired with a unique stretch cloth strap crafted from a polyester and polyurethane mix, capable of expanding to 2.7 times its resting size. This elasticity ensures a secure fit whether strapped directly to the skin or layered over a jacket sleeve during outdoor excursions.
Retaining the iconic "square" footprint, this series measures 48.9mm long and 42.8mm wide. Its 13.4mm profile remains impressively slim, engineered to maintain a low center of gravity even when positioned over gear. Despite the specialized magnetic components and textile band, the piece is remarkably light at just 53g. The strap is highly adjustable, fitting wrists from 145mm to 215mm—a range that provides significantly more flexibility than Casio’s traditional resin offerings.
NOT ANOTHER WATCH!

Time Machines offers a vital journey through the international heritage of horology, shifting focus from mere mechanical utility to the deeper cultural significance of timekeeping. Within its pages, editors Sean Paul Lorentzen and Blake Z. Rong showcase 100 quintessential timepieces spanning from 1900 to today, highlighting how these objects came to represent specific epochs and the peak of human creative progress.
Organized by era, this volume examines the wristwatch as a mirror to evolving technology, design trends, and individual expression. Ranging from Cartier’s pioneering flight instruments to the specialized underwater equipment of Rolex, the book frames the watch as an enduring testament to technical and artistic mastery.
UPGRADE YOUR EDC

The MaxMadCo Bolt Action traces its lineage to a foundational concept that has circulated within the EDC community for over a quarter-century. This latest iteration, brought back by CountyComm in partnership with the original designer, has been updated with contemporary materials and several functional refinements over the initial production run.
Machined from solid brass bar stock—rather than being cast or injection-molded—this Gen 2 variant features robust Grade 5 titanium hardware. A classic topographical pattern is engraved across the barrel and grip, providing both a distinct aesthetic flair and enhanced tactile security. Weighing in at 1.56 ounces with a 5-inch length, it offers a more substantial presence than its titanium sibling and is destined to develop a unique patina through regular use. It comes equipped with a German-made Schmidt 9000M pressurized medium ballpoint refill, a component that has earned its status as an EDC standard for its reliability across various surfaces and orientations. Furthermore, the 9000M is cross-compatible with the broader Schmidt series, ensuring that sourcing replacement refills remains effortless.
THE WINDUP WILDCARD

Nylon straps with a military heritage have transitioned from utilitarian gear to a fundamental component of the modern horological enthusiast's toolkit. Valued for their seamless integration of aesthetic versatility and rugged resilience, these straps offer a "go-anywhere" capability that complements an expansive range of timepieces.
Spring Made has refined this traditional silhouette with a focus on functional ergonomics, introducing a sliding adjustment system that eliminates the limitations of fixed pin-and-buckle hole spacing. This design allows for a precise, customized fit on the wrist, while also providing the necessary flexibility to be repositioned over technical outerwear—like parkas or wetsuits—during more demanding excursions.
The Mesa's ribbed nylon construction emphasizes a dense weave and high-contrast tactile texture, offering a distinct visual departure from standard textile bands. Offered in a palette of evocative tones including Jaguar, Viper, Dune, Quicksand, Nimbus, and Pacific, and available in both 20mm and 22mm widths, the Mesa is engineered to elevate the utility and style of virtually any watch in your rotation.
