The Vero x Worn & Wound 36 Automatic LE was inspired by midcentury design and the ingenuity of Vero's Portland, Oregon based workshop. Taking their 36mm, 100m water resistant case as a starting point, the dial was conceived to celebrate the small form factor while demonstrating Vero's manufacturing capabilities. Featuring a two-layer design with multiple prints and an applied index at 12, the dial speaks to midcentury watch aesthetics, but with a modern execution. The dynamic play of finishes and levels creates a watch that changes depending on the light, looks as good with a suit as a jean jacket and can even go for a swim with no concern.

Inside of the Vero x Worn & Wound 36 Automatic LE is the Sellita SW 200 movement. This is a Swiss-made automatic with 38-hour power reserve, hacking seconds and a frequency of 28,800 bph. Each movement is regulated in-house in 6-positions to +/-5 sec/day and features in-house heat-blued screws. One detail worth noting is that there is no date on the LE, and the Sellita SW 200 is a date-free version as well, so there is no “phantom” crown position.

About Vero

Founded in 2015 by Chris Boudreaux and Danny Recordon in Portland, Oregon, Vero has already set itself apart from the pack through their dedication to in-house production and high quality materials. Their current collections, the 36 and the SW, both feature multi-stage printed dials made of brass, excellent case work and piston crowns manufactured in their Portland facility. The watches are then powered by excellent Sellita Swiss mechanical movements, assembled right in their Portland facility. This American-made ethos, as opposed to taking the simpler route with a manufacturer in Asia or Europe, is a point of pride for Vero, with each Vero timepiece’s packaging proudly displaying the origin and assembly of every component.
