In the 1970s Hamilton received a contract to produce watches for the British Royal Air Force. Now iconic watches, the W10s were defined by their small, rugged barrel-shaped cases and clean pilot dials. The Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Chrono Quartz plays with this iconic concept, putting into an asymmetrical 41mm case that is based on another famous military watch. The result is striking.

The rugged case is a force to be reckoned with and one of the coolest chrono designs ever. The distinctive bowed right side creates a natural guard for the crown and pushers, which sit recessed, but still highly useable. The dial then takes the overall W10 design and adapts it to the larger case, dropping in sub-dials at 6 and 10, adding to its already aggressive personality.

Inside of the Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Chrono Quartz is the ETA G10.211 quartz chronograph caliber. A Swiss-made movement, the G10.211 is a robust, accurate timekeeper with added stop-watch functionality controlled by the two pushers on the side of the case.
