The Farer x Worn & Wound Limited Edition is a study in restraint. Blue and gray tones come together to make a watch that is intended to be both timeless and versatile. A watch that can be dressed up or down, but always has a distinct sense of style. Dark and moody, but extremely tasteful and sophisticated.

The dial features a strong layout with radial symmetry. Circles of deep, slate gray serve as the backdrop for a bold index of numerals and batons made of molded lume, overprinted in dark, navy blue. Though the surface is one tone of gray, contrasting textures of circular and vertical graining create a dynamic two-tone effect. A thin white chapter ring with an index of navy and cyan borders the dial, creating a reprieve from the dark interior.

Syringe hour and minute hands in navy point to the time, while Farer’s signature long seconds hand with “A” tip creates a singular moment of enthusiasm by introducing a shock of cyan and a touch of red.

The element that ties the visual concept together is the gunmetal PVD case. A dark tone, it’s brighter than black, but darker than titanium. On the flowing lines of the 39.5mm x 45mm x 10.8mm steel case, it adds a subdued but brooding demeanor that compliments the slate dial. This coloration extends to Farer’s signature bronze-inlay crown. The darkened steel emphasizing the warm bronze cap. A domed sapphire crystal completes the package with a sensual touch.

Powering the Farer x Worn & Wound Limited Edition is the La Joux Perret G101 Swiss-Made automatic. A date-free movement, it features 24-jewels, 68 hours of power reserve, and a frequency of 28,800bph. While a newer movement, the prestige of La Joux Perret and the impressive specs have quickly made the G101 a high-quality Swiss-made alternative to other 3rd party movements.
