A core model of the Louis Erard catalog, the Excellence Petite Secondes watches are refined and sophisticated. They are rare, too, with only around 100 made per color per year. The dial is a variation on a “sector” layout with numerals, markers, and textures laid out along concentric circles with an oversized sub-seconds dial at six o’clock. Long arrow hands with impossibly thin points clearly point to the time and contribute to the overall elevated aesthetic. 

The 39mm case is fully polished and features a large dial opening and rounded sides for an elegant but modern style. Thanks to the fully rounded shape, the watches wear smaller than the diameter would suggest and look thinner as well.

The Excellence Petite Secondes is available in four standout colors: Glacier Blue, Violet, Night Blue, and Terra Cotta. Glacier Blue is bright and energetic. Paired with blued numerals and hands, it’s an icey vision. Violet is exotic and unexpected, a vibrant purple for those who want to stand out. Night Blue is handsome and mysterious, a classic and versatile combination. Terracotta, which rides the line between “Salmon” and an earthier tone, is rich and welcoming. The color is complemented with dark numerals and hands. All versions feature 20mm leather straps in coordinated colors.

Powering the Excellence Petite Secondes is the Sellita SW261-1 Swiss-made caliber. An automatic movement, it features 31-jewels, hacking, hand winding, small seconds, a frequency of 28,000 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 38 hours. The movements in use are true no-date.
