The way you carry your EDC is just as important as the items you carry. The James Brand knows this, and that’s why they’ve put so much thought into their Mehlville carabiner. The Mehlville is CNC machined from a solid block of aluminum and fitted with a sturdy spring-loaded gate. It’s designed with two compartments — a wide open top to clip onto a wide range of attachment points, fitting everything from a belt loop to a backpack strap. The smaller compartment at the bottom keeps your keys and/or tools separate from the main compartment as an added layer of security. You’re less likely to lose items stored in the bottom compartment when clipping and unclipping the carabiner. There’s also a steel bottle opener built into the side of the Mehlville for some added functionality.
