Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spinnaker Watches, with their latest collection inspired by the world of SpongeBob SquarePants, is ready to find out with three unique Bikini Bottom-themed timepieces. Based on their popular Cahill dive watch formula, the collection is built on robust 43mm stainless steel cases with 200m of water resistance perfect for life at the bottom of the sea.
The first is the Foghorn, inspired by the protagonist’s instantly recognizable alarm clock. It features a fully lumed green crosshair dial with black sword hands and a steel bezel, paired with a complementary orange strap. It is limited to 300 pieces.
The Patrick O’ Clock is inspired by a timepiece worn by the show’s protagonist, featuring Patrick Star in the center of the blue dial with his arms acting as the minute and hour hands. A coral bezel provides a sharp accent while the yellow strap completes the vibrant look. Like the Foghorn, only 300 pieces will be made.
The Work Not Work is perhaps the most unique watch in the collection, based on another watch worn by the famous aquatic line cook. Its hour hand completes one single rotation every 24 hours across the lumed 24-hour dial divided into a red “Work” section from 8:00-18:00 and a green “Not Work” section from 19:00-7:00. A bold twist on a traditional watch, it's neatly paired with a black bezel and matching rubber strap. The Work Not Work is limited to just 350 pieces.
Underneath the exhibition caseback of the Foghorn and Patrick O’Clock is the Seiko NH35 with a unique rotor depicting the show’s protagonists. One of the most popular movements among brands at this price point, the NH35 is a Japanese-made automatic movement featuring 24 jewels, hacking, hand-winding, a 41-hour power reserve, a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, and a date complication.
The Work Not Work is powered by a Seiko NH34, a popular Japanese-made GMT caliber featuring 24 jewels, hacking, hand winding, a 24-hour hand, a 41-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour.
The Cahill Automatic Spongebob SquarePants Timekeeper LE starts shipping in late November.
