Founded in 2015, Vero Watch Company designs its precision timepieces with a single mission in mind: to inspire and live a life of adventure. Each watch is assembled in their Portland, Oregon workshop, ready to live up to the brand’s ideal of the modern American Field Watch. Part of this is their commitment to the Great Outdoors – their latest model is built in partnership with the United States Forest Service, a government agency founded in 1905 to protect the nation’s forests and grasslands.

The Forest Service Edition features a 39mm stainless steel case coated in a durable layer of Cerakote for a splash of color and improved scratch resistance. The watch is ready for any outdoor adventure with 120m of water resistance and twin screw-down crowns, one of which rotates the internal timing bezel. A rubberized push-button at 2:00 activates the sweeping six-month power indicator complication. Each Forest Service Edition is paired with a matching nylon hook-and-loop strap, readily adjustable for whatever conditions await. It comes in a standard size that fits 6.5" to 7.5" wrists or a long size that fits 7" to 9" wrists. A portion of the proceeds of each watch is donated back to the Forest Service to help protect the forests and grasslands of the United States.

The Service Green is part of an overall collection that also features the Airtanker, Hotshot and Ranger.

Powering the Vero Forest Service Edition is the Seiko PX28A. A Japanese-made Kinetic quartz movement utilizing a capacitor instead of a battery, it is powered by the wearer's movement. The PX28A features a date, a power reserve indicator, a capacitor life span of approximately 10 years, accuracy of within 15 seconds per month, and a power reserve of up to six months.

About Vero Watch Company

For a small team like Vero, it’s important that their watches are a representation of their personalities and interests. Owner Chris Boudreaux created a brand with a focus on watches that fit in with his active lifestyle. Vero’s newest watch, the Open Water is a dive watch featuring a sleek, modern, and minimalist design that’s backed with the features to make it ideal for a wide range of activities, whether you’re on the water or in the mountains. Slim, yet bold case shapes are paired with subtle use of color, resulting in an easy to wear watch. Vero’s watches are designed in Portland, Oregon, but are precision-machined in Switzerland. The components are then sent to the US for assembly, regulation, and quality control in Vero’s workshop.
