Founded in 2013, Paulin is a refreshing Glasgow-based brand known for its mechanical watches with distinct art period-inspired designs. Paulin sets itself apart by supporting and embracing local artists in their product designs and executions. A revised take on the brand’s vibrant everyday Neo collection, the Neo GMT adds a second time zone to the brand’s best-seller. 

The new Neo GMT features the same imminently wearable 38mm stainless steel case, 50m of water resistance, and hesalite box crystal that fans of the brand have come to love; even the thickness is unchanged. Where it differs is the new 24-hour hand independently tracking an additional time The GMT B features a rich olive green dial with yellow, blue, and grey accents, while the GMT C features a vibrant fuchsia dial with white, yellow, and blue accents. Both dials are manufactured in the UK from dyed anodized aluminum, a Paulin signature. Both come standard with a charcoal grey suede strap. 

The Neo GMT swaps the original’s Seiko NH35 for a NH34A, modified to remove the ghost date complication. A Japanese-made automatic movement, it features an independent “caller” GMT complication, 24 jewels, hacking, hand winding, small seconds, a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 41 hours.
