Where it started

Three brands, one Solar Hiker.

In 2025, we teamed up with Vaer and Topo Designs for our first-ever triple-brand collaboration, the Solar Hiker. Bringing together three brands with distinct perspectives and expertise, we aimed to create a watch that combined the practicality of outdoor gear with the everyday appeal of a great wristwatch. Vaer brought their experience making durable, accessible, adventure-ready watches, Topo Designs contributed their signature approach to colorful, functional gear, and Worn & Wound brought the concept together. The result was a versatile, solar-powered tool watch that was as comfortable on the trail as it was around town.

Built around a compact case with 200 meters of water resistance, the Solar Hiker combined a classic field watch's legibility with a dive watch's functionality. A dual-index bezel offered multiple ways to track time, while generously lumed numerals and hands ensured readability in any condition. Topo Designs rounded out the package with custom straps and a purpose-built carrying case as useful as the watch itself.
