The Promaster Dive is Citizen's answer to a watch that works as hard underwater as it does on dry land, pairing genuine ISO dive-watch performance with a case built for daily rotation. It runs on Citizen's Eco-Drive system, which draws power from any light source — indoors or out — so there's never a battery to track down or replace.

The 40.6mm case is finished in silver-tone stainless steel and paired with a black unidirectional bezel for tracking elapsed dive time. A matte white dial keeps legibility sharp, with a date window sitting at 3 o'clock. Up top, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal resists impact and scratching while cutting glare. It's fitted to a polyurethane strap with a buckle closure, rated to 200m of water resistance, and comes in at a wearable 84 grams.

Inside is the E118 Eco-Drive caliber, a light-powered movement that stores energy continuously rather than depleting like a standard battery-driven quartz movement. It drives a straightforward 3-hand-with-date layout, keeping the focus on dive-ready function over added complications.

About Citizen

With a history that dates back to the founding of the Shokosha Watch Research Institute in 1918, Citizen Watch Co. was formally established in 1930 with the goal of creating high-quality yet accessible timepieces for the Japanese market. Headquartered in Nishitokyo, Tokyo, Japan, Citizen is one of the world's largest and most vertically-integrated watch manufacturers. In addition to producing timepieces under its own name, Citizen also serves as the parent company for a number of other brands including Bulova, Alpina, Arnold & Son, Frederique Constant, Campanola, and Miyota. Citizen’s list of horological accomplishments is both long and impressive, including everything from creating Japan’s first fully-waterproof wristwatch to currently holding the title for the world’s most accurate movement, which is capable of astonishing precision within just one second per year.
