Originally released in 2015, the Divers Sixty-Five was Oris’ first foray into heritage diver territory and a very successful one at that. Pulling from their extensive archives, the Divers Sixty-Five was based on a quirky and distinctly Oris mid-century design that gave the watch a unique look and flavor. A mix of a large dial, massive crystal, thin bezel, and slim mid-case made the watch stand out from the increasingly crowded sea of vintage-inspired divers. The result was an immediate success, quickly becoming one of the brand's most popular designs.

New for 2021 is the Divers Sixty-Five "Glow" which combines a smokey gradient dial with bright turquoise markers. Uncommon for the 40mm case size, Oris went with classic dive markers on this model and omitted the date for a clean, bold look. The combination of colors is striking, giving this model a unique place in the Divers Sixty-Five catalog.

Inside of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five is the Oris 733 / Sellita SW 200 movement. This is a 26-jewel Swiss-made automatic with 38-hour power reserve, hacking seconds and a frequency of 28,800 bph. It’s a very reliable and robust automatic that will keep great time.

About Oris

The rich history of Oris dates back to 1904, when Paul Cattin and Georges Christian founded the brand in Hölstein, Switzerland, where it is still based. Over the past century, Oris has reached many great achievements, including being one of the 10 largest watch brands in the world in the 1960’s. Since the 1980’s, Oris has pursued a catalog of unique mechanical watches that has channeled their independent spirit. From their patented Worldtimer to their depth gauge diver to their mechanical altimeter pilot’s watch, Oris has continued to innovate in a way few other brands can match. An achievement that is highlighted by the brand’s commitment to fare, and accessible prices.
