The Wolbrook Skindiver Decompression Automatic revives one of the most beloved expressions of vintage dive-watch design: the multi-color decompression scale. Inspired by 1960s timing tools, the watch uses layered rings of color to display recommended ascent decompression stages, resulting in a dial that is both functional and visually striking. Available in Black Dial and Blue Dial variants, each model blends bright retro tones with modern durability to create a standout mechanical diver rooted in history.

The 40mm stainless-steel case maintains authentic skin-diver proportions, joined by a wearable 48mm lug-to-lug and a 13mm thickness that sits comfortably on the wrist. A box-style sapphire crystal reinforces the vintage aesthetic, while the matte dial allows the decompression rings to shine with clarity. Strong Super-LumiNova, a screw-down crown, and 150m water resistance keep the Skindiver Decompression fully capable as a modern tool watch.

Powering the watch is the Miyota 8315 automatic movement, offering a robust 60-hour power reserve, hacking seconds, and smooth hand-winding capability. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, the 8315 delivers reliable performance suitable for daily wear. Inside, the movement is finished with Geneva stripes and blue screws, bringing a touch of mechanical refinement that complements the watch’s vintage-inspired exterior. With its extended power reserve and clean no-date layout, the 8315 is an ideal choice for a bold, functional decompression diver.

About Wolbrook

Since 1949, Wolbrook has been engineering mechanical watches and chronographs built for the real world—high-speed flights, deep dives, and everything in between. The iconic Skindiver, a registered trademark since the 1960s, represents the brand's ethos perfectly: durable, approachable tool-watches with legitimate heritage you can actually trace back through decades. After the quartz crisis shuttered operations in the 1970s, Wolbrook slumbered for nearly 50 years until passionate watchmakers resurrected it in 2019—properly, not as some hollow revival. Today's Skindiver collection stays true to those 1960s originals while delivering modern specs: sapphire crystals, Swiss Super-LumiNova, and genuine tool-watch credentials, all assembled in France.
