The Vero for Windup Watch Shop Century Series "Peak" and "Granite" limited editions are a duo of 38mm titanium field watches. One light, the other dark, both feature and show off Vero's exceptional case manufacturing techniques, all done in-house in their Portland, Oregon workshop. The first 38mm watches from the brand, one is refined and elegant, the other is rugged and rustic. Limited to 30 watches each, these are truly unique timepieces.
The Peak is an adventure-field watch, inspired by elevation and achievement. The case is hand-finished, showing off titanium's more elegant side. The dial is crisp white with dark blue numerals and heat blued Alpha hands that come to a remarkably thin point. Handsome and classic, the Peak works as well with a blazer as jeans.
The Granite is a military/hiking-field watch, inspired by the warm earth tones it’s designed to be used in. The dial is muted gray with white numerals and ochre accents on the text and minute/second track. The case is utterly different, matte-blasted then oxidized in a chemical bath for a warm, dark, aged appearance, speaking to the "parkerization" process used on some military watches. The Granite is masculine and outdoorsy, best paired with hard wearing materials and dark tones.
Inside of the Peak and Granite is the Sellita SW 200 movement. This is a Swiss-made automatic with 38-hour power reserve, hacking seconds and a frequency of 28,800 bph. Each movement is regulated in-house in 6-positions to +/-5 sec/day and features in-house heat-blued screws.

Founded in 2015 by Chris Boudreaux and Danny Recordon in Portland, Oregon, Vero has already set itself apart from the pack through their dedication to in-house production and high quality materials. Their current collections, the 36 and the SW, both feature multi-stage printed dials made of brass, excellent case work and piston crowns manufactured in their Portland facility. The watches are then powered by excellent Sellita Swiss mechanical movements, assembled right in their Portland facility. This American-made ethos, as opposed to taking the simpler route with a manufacturer in Asia or Europe, is a point of pride for Vero, with each Vero timepiece’s packaging proudly displaying the origin and assembly of every component.
