The Safari GMT features a comfortable 40mm stainless steel case with an impressive 200m of water resistance, ensuring it stands up to any conditions. The “caller”-style GMT complication provides a means of independently tracking a second time zone through the watch’s fixed dual-tone 24-hour bezel. The Maasai Mara and Serengeti models both feature “California” dials, with Roman numerals from 10:00 to 2:00 and Arabic numerals from 4:00 to 8:00. The rich blues and greens of the Maasai Mara and Serengeti form a rich contrast from the Banff model, with its large date at 3:00, Arabic numerals at 6:00, 9:00, and 12:00, and additional 24-hour track on the inside of the dial. All are paired with matching y-link stainless steel bracelets. 

Powering the Safari GMT is the Seiko NH34A, visible through the watch’s sapphire exhibition caseback. Each caseback features randomized artwork of one of four indigenous animals. A Japanese-made automatic movement, it features an independent “caller” GMT complication, 24 jewels, hacking, hand winding, small seconds, a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, and a power reserve of at least 41 hours.
