The Edgemere Reserve LE is a collaboration between Martenero and Worn & Wound. The Edgemere Reserve is a nautical-themed watch inspired by the marine chronometers and deck watches of the 19th and early 20th century. Playing off of the instrument-inspiration, the Edgemere Reserve features a power reserve at 12, 24-hour sub-dial at 6 and a date window at 3. All complications that not only add to the look of the watch, but its usability.
For the Limited Edition, a reduced palette of white, gray and red was used to create a toned-down version of this watch. The result is that it takes on a less nautical feel, veering into automotive and graphic territory. The Limited Edition comes with two straps, a custom American-made black leather strap, and a Navy nylon ADPT Strap, also made in the US.
Inside of the Edgemere Reserve LE is the Miyota 9132 automatic caliber. This Japanese-made movement is well regarded for its durability and reliability. The 9132 features 26-jewels, power reserve, 24-hour hand, date, hand-winding, hacking, a 42-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 bph (beats per hour).

Since bursting onto the scene in early 2014, Martenero has established themselves as one of the leading microbrands in the current watch landscape. Based in Brooklyn, New York, the brand offers a mix of classic concepts and modern design language to create something completely original to Martenero. These distinctive designs take cues from everything from pilots and field watches to classic dress pieces, but one of the standout pieces of the entire collection is a modernist take on the iconic marine chronometer- the Edgemere. The Edgemere adds a playful, preppy flair to marine chronometer style through all four of its colorways, making an often stodgy category feel relaxed and accessible.
