The X-Wind (crosswind) Chronographs are Hamilton’s most complex watches by a large margin. In fact, they are some of the most complex pilot’s watches - period. Featuring not just a chronograph, but also an external bezel, two (yes, two - one within the other) internal bezels, three crowns, and two pushers (not to forget a day and date as well), they allow for a savvy pilot whose instruments have failed to calculate crosswind drift. Not your everyday requirement, but they do so in style, making the X-Winds truly unique and enjoyable watches to own and wear.

This new version pairs the exotic functionality of the watch with an equally impressive style. The 45mm x 53.7mm x 15.2mm case is rendered in sandblasted “beige” PVD, which has a pale rose gold tonality. The dial takes the spotlight, however, features a desert-chic camouflage in browns with numerals and indexes in a burnt sand color. Never one to overlook a detail, even the day and date text is in a warm tone. Complementing this unique colorway is a heavy-duty beige nylon strap that completes the look.

Inside of the Khaki Aviation X-Wind Auto Chrono is the H-21-Si Swiss-made caliber. This automatic chronograph is based on the venerable ETA/Valjoux 7750, and features 25-jewels, hacking, hand-winding, a frequency of 28,800 bph, an extended power reserve of 60-hours, and a silicon balance spring.
