The Murph has always carried a story bigger than its case size, and this 38mm expression leans further into that legend with a dial that reads like a snapshot of deep space. A luminous blue center fades outward into black, echoing the glow of ionized gas thinning into the void, while a fine, grained texture gives the surface a sense of depth rather than flatness. Slightly domed numerals and cathedral-shaped hands carry over the design cues longtime fans of the Murph will recognize immediately, keeping this new colorway tied to the model's cinematic roots even as the dial treatment pushes it somewhere more atmospheric.

Both references share a 38mm stainless steel case finished at a wearable 11.1mm thick, topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and an open case back that puts the movement on display. The two variants part ways at the wrist: one rides on a black calfskin leather strap with contrasting white stitching for a quieter, classic finish, while the other swaps onto a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and easy micro-adjustment, giving the same watch a more contemporary, tool-ready presence.

Power comes from Hamilton's in-house H-10 automatic caliber, a three-hand movement that trades complexity for endurance, holding an 80-hour power reserve so the watch can sit off the wrist over a weekend and still be ready to go Monday morning. A Nivachron balance spring adds resistance to magnetic fields, temperature swings, and shock, while Super-LumiNova on the hands and dial keeps the Murph legible long after the lights go down.
